Global Lite Refinery is an agribusiness company based in Sierra Leone that produces palm kernel oil and processed cassava flour. As part of its sustainability initiative, the company is integrating smallholder farmers in Sierra Leone into its supply chain with the goal of not only serving the Sierra Leone and ECOWAS region but also creating employment opportunities for youths and women in Sierra Leone. The company shall also obtain a Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (“RSPO”) certification called Identity Preserved necessary to prove that its products are not produced with forced labor.
